Jack H. Wilkinson, passed away on June 2, 2014, age 89. Jack was a coach, science teacher of the year, and was inducted into the El Paso Athletic Hall of Fame. He played football for Odessa High School and was all district. He served 3 years in WWII in the Pacific Theatre. Jack graduated from Texas Western College, lettered 4 years in football and played in 2 Sun Bowls. He received his masters in PE, was published and spent twenty two summers working as a right-of-way agent for the El Pas Natural Gas Company. Jack is survived by his wife Betty of 62 years, son JJ (Kim) daughter Zella(Gary) and grandsons Matthew (Megan) Christopher, Zachary, Grant and great grandchildren Jacob and Ava. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, June 6, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Martin Funeral Home West. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to UTEP Woman's Auxiliary Memorial Fund.
