On December 2, 2012, the year of our Lord, James Berkley Lipes joined his beloved wife, Marian in Heaven. He is survived by his son Patrick Alan Lipes of El Paso, Texas; Twin brother William Preston Lipes and wife Joan Lipes of Salem, Virginia; Sister-in-law, Gail Parker of El Paso, Texas; Nephew L. L. Parker of Ft. Collins, Colorado and Niece Kristin Burga of Dallas, Texas. Services will be held on Friday, December 7th, 2012 at 3 pm at Harding-Orr & McDaniel Funeral Home. James proudly served in The United States for 42 years in the U.S. Army and as a U.S. Customs Inspector. James was truly a man of great integrity, devoted to both family and friends.
