In 1976, Jim married the love of his life, Donna. Together they built a strong and loving family, raising their three children: son Eric (Kelli) and daughters Katie (Emmanuel) and Kelly (Gabriel). Jim took great pride in his role as a husband, father, and grandfather, always putting his family first.
Jim had a deep love for the outdoors and spent much of his life hunting, fishing, and working on the farm. He was happiest outside, enjoying the land and the simple things in life. Known by family and friends as someone who could fix just about anything, Jim was always willing to lend a helping hand. His patience, kindness, and steady nature made him someone people trusted and admired.
Above all else, Jim cherished time with his grandchildren: Jacob, Cayden, Isabella, Courtney, Eli, Alex, Hazen, and Luella. They were the light of his life, and he loved every moment spent with them.
Jim will be remembered for his gentle heart, his strong work ethic, and the deep love he had for his family. His presence, wisdom, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Donna; his children, Eric (Kelli), Katie (Emmanuel), and Kelly (Gabriel); his eight grandchildren, brother John, sister Linda, and countless nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
A Memorial Service will be held at Funeraria Del Angel Hillcrest West, La Estrella, 5054 Doniphan Dr., El Paso, Texas 79932, on March 10, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.
