CARL AND FAMILY:

I AM SHOCKED AND SADDENED TO HEAR OF JONI'S PASSING.  I WAS GONG TO SEND HER A BIRTHDAY CARD LIKE ALWAYS AND I SAW THIS.  YOU KNOW I LOVE JONI LIKE SHE WAS A SISTER TO ME.  I WILL ALWAYS CHERISH HER MEMORY AND THE GREAT TIMES WE SHARED WHEN I CAME TO VISIT.  MAY GOD CONTINUE TO STRENGHTEN AND GUIDE YOU.  LOVE, SHIRLEY BREWER CABKNOR, CLEVELAND, OHIO.

Aunt Joni, I miss our weekly telephone calls. I have so many great memories of our times together. My life is so much better for having had you in my life.

I remeber being on a class trip to D.C at 10 or 11 years old, Aunt J and Uncle Carl came in from Baltimore to take me to lunch. She taught me and my sister Monica to write letters as a kid..this was how we kept in touch for a long time. I always looked forward to those letters. We have many many fond memories of Aunt Joni..she will be sorely missed!

Joni was a wonderful friend and I will truly miss her. She had a great sense of humor and the intelligence of the encyclopedia brittanica!  I will miss visiting her and husband Carl every year.  God bless you Joni, and now enjoy your time with T, Bobby, Viv and the rest of those you love who are with our Lord.
