Our beloved Father, Brother, Uncle, Grandfather and Great Grandfather Joe Jordan lost his battle after a long courageous fight with COVID19 and other underlying medical issues on September 8, 2020.
Joe was born on Dec, 22, 1933 to Felipe and Aurora C. Jordan. He was a proud Bowie Bear graduate and a die hard fan of the Washington Redskins.
He served his country in the United States Army. Then afterwards he worked as a bus driver for El Paso City Lines then became a bus driver for EPISD for 27 years. He was an outstanding athlete in high school he played football and baseball and after that he played baseball with semi-pro leagues and got the opportunity to try out with St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
Joe's strong Catholic faith prepared him for this journey to heaven. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors that provided wonderful care, special thanks to Dr. Valilis. This care gave his family more time with him.
Friends and family are welcome for visitation on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Martin Funeral Home-East 1460 George Dieter from 5-9 PM with the rosary at 7PM.
Due to COVID19 - Burial will be at a later date at Ft. Bliss Cemetery
