John has been a friend of mine since I worked with him in early 1947. Very sorry to hear of his passing.

Jim, Joe and John Jr., and your families.  I want to offer my sincerest condolences after the loss of your father, Mr. Johnny Bean Sr. He was such a generous man and raised his sons' as right as rain. You are in my thoughts and prayers.  I hope the knowledge that your daddy is in heaven can give you some solace during this very difficult time.

I don't know when I first met him, He has always been there. He called me son Michale and liked to hand me a broom whenever I came around.He shared his experience of climbing out of the ship while it was going down with all the mules in it, and the star cluster he could see at the end of the ladder tube. Ill miss hanging out in the leather shop. and watching the burn barrels burn sitting on the bench. He let me drive my first tractor, and I promptly broke an axle on the hay trailer. I miss 4 wheeling in the dunes with his old Bronco. He made me feel like I was special. Ill miss not seeing him.

Mr. Bean,
Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served during WW II and also for being a member of the Greatest Generation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

 I was surprized to hear that your Dad passed away as I thought he had gone to his maker years ago. I never met your Dad but after reading several posts from those who knew him he must have been a great guy and to have raised you two even makes him a better man. I know that you will miss him, but be comforted knowing that he must surely be in a better place.

He was always a nice and friendly man, just like all his sons. Your have lost a great Dad and a good man, my heart goes out to you guys. Johnny Bean taught my Dad (Jerry Meyer) to do leatherwork and build jockey saddles.  His death bring an end of an era of amazing horseman and men.  Johnny kept in touch with me for years and I always considered him a "grandpa" in my life.  He was a good man and will be missed.  Love you Johnny Bean, Jonalee and family

How gracious a person willing to help another horseman in the hour of need. Many years ago my horse trailer broke down and I needed somewhere to board and without a question you said, bring them on in. There isn't many left like you, "Rest in Peace" now you will Race forever.
