

Jose “Pepe” Palma, beloved, passed away Monday, February 23, 2015, of organ failure. He was 87. Preceded in death by his brothers Gregorio, Chonito, Felix, Julio, sisters Matilde, Soledad, Merejilda and sons George and Jose “Pepe”, he was survived by his wife of 65 years, Luz “Lucita” Palma, sons Aurelio, Arturo, and daughters Luz Jasso and Elizabeth Palma-Ramirez. A devoted husband, dutiful father, he was “Abuelo Pepe” to 9 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild. Born in Ballesa, Chihuahua, Mexico on May 7, 1927, and later moved his family to the USA. A retiree of the El Paso Natural Gas Company, his greatest loves included his Savior Jesus Christ, his family, and the game of baseball (a loyal L.A. Dodgers fan). He will be missed by those he blessed with his humor, strength, and love. We carry you in our thoughts, our lives, and our hearts forever. Lord, please hold him in your loving arms. Visitation: Friday, February 27, 2015 from 5-9 pm with Vigil/Rosary 7 pm at Crestview Chapel, 1462 N. Zaragosa, El Paso, TX 79936. Funeral Mass: 9 am Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church followed by internment at Evergreen East Cemetery.
