

She survived by her eldest son Van Turner Jr, daughter Deborah Turner, daughter Jenny Turner, son Anthony Turner, grandchildren André’ T Garcia and Cariana Turner.
A woman of immense kindness, quiet strength, and generous spirit, Juanita touched countless lives with her warmth and unwavering love.
Born and raised in El Paso, Juanita dedicated her life to caring for others. She spent many years as a Registered Nurse with El Paso County, serving in immunizations and prenatal care. Her compassion, gentle presence, and steady hands made her a source of comfort for families throughout the community. Her work was not simply a career—it was a calling she lived with pride and humility.
A lifelong member and devoted worshiper at Mt. Carmel Catholic Church, Juanita’s faith guided her daily life. She carried herself with grace, gratitude, and a deep sense of devotion that inspired everyone who knew her.
Juanita loved life fully and joyfully. She especially loved dancing—moving with a lightness and joy that reflected the spirit she carried inside. Above all, her greatest happiness came from her family. As a loving mother and grandmother, she poured boundless love, patience, and wisdom into her children and grandchildren, always placing family at the center of her world.
Juanita’s legacy is one of love, faith, and service. She will be remembered for her beautiful heart, her generosity, and the gentle way she made others feel seen, cared for, and valued.
Her family and all who loved her will forever cherish her memory.
A visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, located at 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, on December 9, 2025, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm.
The funeral service will follow at the same location from 12:00 pm to 12:45 pm.
The committal service will take place at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, on December 9, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
