My name was Brennan Yoder when I was younger any way when I was a child and even after I would spend days and nights with June and Harold.  We would set and play Dominoes and watch TV together.  We went shopping together and go to Tembron  and Cloud croft together.  Troy and Tammy witch were her grand children would go as well.  We really had good times.  
I did a name change in 2018 to Jessie James Yoder.  That is why I said my name was Brennan Yoder.
I also remember when we all would get together for holidays and other events.  Those were the good old days.  I miss you June.  But, I will see you again soon. 

June was a wonderful friend to our family. She  welcomed our family into her home for games and food very often. Harold was good to help keep our old cars running . She was closer than a sister to our mom. We will always be grateful that we had her as a  friend. 

A Job promotion brought my parents  to El Paso in 1948.  My father had come out early to find a place for us to live.  He started going to the White Spur Church of Christ before the rest of the family came out.  We met June, Harold, and their sons, Kenneth and Dennis at the White Spur Church.  Mom & Dad, Etta and JT Crow, became the closest of friends with June and Harold.   This drew both families close.  I stayed in El Paso and  had regular contact with June and Harold.   After Harold died, June's friendship with mom and dad grew even stronger.  What a blessing her friendship was to mom  and dad, and finally to just mom, and of course Chris and I.  We visited in June and Harold's home.  They were most hospitable hosts.  After my mother died in 2010, we stayed in touch with June, mostly by phone and card, but some visits and lunch out,  June was a blessing to everyone who knew her. When we moved to El Paso and attended church with June and the brothers and sisters in Anthony, June welcomed us and made us feel at home and like a part of the family.  She often invited us to her place in Cloudcroft where she cooked those wonderful enchiladas for us and let us share the beauties of nature with her.
We will always cherish the fond memories of June and our many friends at Anthony.
We will always remember the good and kind Christian Lady that she was.

June Ragsdale was a Strong, Kind, Loving and Chrisitan woman.  
If anyone ever needed "anything" she was right there for you. If someone was sick she would go to the kitchen and cook something to take to you, or get you a card and go visit you. 
She raised my siblings (Matt and Michelle and I). She was there for my grandparents and my Mother Maria Isabel. 
As a child she would help me with my homework and quiz me on my vocabulary. She would make us delicious  home cooked meals. We all would go to church on Sundays and Wednesdays nights. 
She would take us to Cloudcroft and we would  have a blast Atving, hiking, and I remember her sitting every morning outside on the patio with a cup of coffee  and enjoying nature. 
She loved nature! She loved watching the deer, raccoons, bluejays, robbins, and even the bears! 
When I went to high school she would always tell me to never be like the other girls, but to always be myself. To be kind, to help others, and to stay sweet. 
One of the greatest lessons she taught me was to love one another and to be slow to wrath. It can be hard sometimes for me because in this world I see a lot of wrong, but like she said all you can do is pray for them. 
I feel ok right now because I know June is in Heaven and she is on the right side of God. I know it because her goal on here on earth was to be Jesus's faithful servant and she over achieved these expectations. So I am at peace. She is in a far better place now. 
My brother Matt if I could take away your pain, I would in a heart beat. I love you always remember that. I know June was everything to you. Bro, we spent the best of her golden years with her. She loved you and you know that. 
We will all meet again. 
I have a daughter now and I can't wait to tell her about June and all our adventurous we had. 
Rest in peace beautiful.
