Lauren Desiree Noriega, 57, born February 26, 1963 in El Paso, TX, and died December 8, 2020 at Del Sol Medical Center in El Paso. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Roy Warren Merworth and Fanny Lee Owen Merworth of El Paso, and her husband of 25 years, Eduardo Luis Noriega
She is survived by her sisters Holly Franco (Mike) and Tracey Merworth; children Christina Noriega Damalouji (Jonathan) and Eduardo Luis Noriega Jr., (Breanna); and grandchildren Susanna Rae Damalouji and David Jonathan Eduardo Damalouji.
Lauren attended El Paso High School and received a technical degree in Pharmacology. After raising her children she held various jobs in El Paso and in Dallas. A devoted mother and homemaker, she loved to have fun, was a dedicated friend, a wonderful cook, and had a passion for music. Her most notable quality was undoubtedly the size of her heart.
Services will be held December 15, 2020 at 3:30pm at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 7050 McNutt Road, Anthony (La Union), NM, 88021.
Due to the COVID-19 restrictions, services will be held in person for immediate family members only.
The service will be streamed virtually on the church’s web and Facebook page.
