Leonor Alice Holland – Born on 4/12/1929
We are saddened to share the passing of our beloved Nana, Leonor Alice Holland (96) of El Paso, TX. A woman whose warmth, wisdom, and unwavering love touched everyone she met. She reunited with her loved ones in the presence of our Lord on Saturday, September 6, 2025, when she passed peacefully in her sleep. Nana taught us the meaning of grace, resilience, and unconditional love. Her smile filled our homes, and her stories will live on in our hearts. Though she is no longer with us, her spirit remains in every memory, every tradition, and every life she shaped. We will miss her dearly, but we are forever grateful for the time we had and the love she gave so freely.
Alice is preceded in death by her husband James H. Holland Sr. and her daughter Catherine Palmer. She is survived by her son James H. Holland Jr., his wife, 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild.
A memorial Mass will take place on October 6, 2025, at 10:00am at Saint Michael’s Church, 1025 E. Pointer Trail, Van Buren, AR 72956, followed by burial service at Holy Cross Cemetery at 5403 N. O St., Fort Smith, AR 72904.
