Leticia Porras

Leticia Ramirez Porras was born February 27, 1952, in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico. the daughter of Jose Maria Ramirez and Tomasa Munoz de Ramirez.

Leticia Porras married Francisco Javier Porras on September 30, 1972, at San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church, Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, MEX. Javier and Leticia were married for 36-years until his death on April 24, 2008. Leticia was a proud mother to her daughter Karla Vasquez, sons Francisco Javier Porras, Juan Carlos Porras, and Thomas Enrique Porras, to include her son-in-law, Efrain Vasquez. She was greatly loved by her grandchildren Marla Vasquez-Wittmer, Dallas Vasquez, Jade Vasquez, Jude Vasquez, Star Porras, Alex Porras, Itzel Porras, Julian Porras, Jose Ramirez, and Felisha Ramirez.

Leticia Porras was a member of Saint Vincent de Paul, Rogers, Arkansas.

Favorite memories of Leticia, through her hard work and efforts, are when she became a US Citizen, and her abundance amount of recipes for tamales, gorditas, Chile Rellenos, and homemade tortillas that she would share with her family.

Preceding Leticia Porras in death are spouse, Francisco Javier Porras; parents, Jose Maria Ramirez and Tomasa Munoz de Ramirez; brothers, Jose Ramirez and Antonio Gandara; sisters, Rosa Ramirez and Josefina Ramirez.

Visitation will be held October 6, 2025, at 12pm-3pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N Carolina Drive, El Paso, Texas. Memorial services will be held October 7, 2025, at 10:00am at Christo Rey Catholic Church, 8011 Williamette Ave., El Paso, Texas.
