October 7, 1929 – February 9, 2022
It is with much sadness, the family of Lillian Cooper announces her peaceful passing on February 9th 2022. She was the heart of the family and will be greatly missed. Her love of life and energetic and positive spirit expressed the love she had for her family and friends alike. Inspired by her deceased husband Charles Cooper she became an accomplished artist which was her passion later in life.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jose Reyna and Catarina Taylor, by her husband Charles Cooper, infant daughter Elizabeth E., brother David Reyna and the father of her children Armando M. Rey. She is survived by her children Evelyn, E. Elizabeth and Armand (Sugista) Rey and grandchildren Michael and Alissa Rey. She is survived by stepchildren Dona, Charlie and Connie Cooper and step grandchildren Russell and Mark Cooper and many nieces and nephews. And her many friends of the art association and others who knew Lily closely and remember her vibrant personality.
We give special thanks to all of the healthcare providers and doctors who helped us with the compassionate care and support during these difficult times.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022 from at Martin Funeral Home West 128 N. Resler in El Paso Texas 79912 from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm with prayer service at 12:00 pm. Cremation will follow her services.
