

Luis Vigil went to his heavenly home Sunday, March 22, 2015. Born October 9, 1928 he was 86 years old. He resided in El Paso, TX. Luis was retired from the El Paso Water Utilities where he was known as Champion. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, and a great friend to all who knew him. He played piano with The Blue Jays for many years. He loved the race track, his cats, and his favorite baseball team, the Dodgers. Dad, we will always remember your sense of humor. Luis was preceded in death by his parents, his brother and sister, one granddaughter and one great granddaughter. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Amelia M. Vigil, son Jose Luis Vigil (Mickey Vigil), daughters Gloria Garcia (Danny Garcia), Carmen Castro (John Castro Sr.), Martha Suarez, ten grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, and one great-great grandson.
