Marion L. (Pete) Thompson left this earthly life for his heavenly home on Thursday, December 3rd, after a long illness. He worked for Southern Pacific Railroad for 35 years until retirement. He leaves behind his loving family, wife of 60 years, Barbara; son: Timothy (Melissa); daughter: Janel (Tom); sisters: Loretta and Margaret; 4 grandsons & 6 great-grandchildren. Visitation: 6:00-9:00pm on Monday, December 7, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with Prayer Service at 7:00pm. Funeral Service: 9:00am on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina. Interment: Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
