

Mary Stires Booth, born on October 19, 1928, in El Paso, Texas, passed away on September 5, 2025.
Mary lived a full and remarkable life. She was married to her beloved husband, Donald Frederick Booth, for 70 years, a partnership grounded in deep love, devotion, and unwavering commitment. Together, they built a family rich in shared memories.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Donald, her daughters, Donna Thomas (Mark), Patricia Townsend, Sandra Grijalva (Mark), and Susan Bullock (Dave), her son, Jefferey Booth (Veronica), and her sister, Ruth Kiser. Mary was also blessed with 13 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren, who brought her endless joy and pride.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lloyd and Soledad (Carrillo) Stires, her brothers, Roberto Stires and Joe Stires, and her sisters, Dora Meeks, Esperanza Gregg, Alicia Perez, and Lucille Sharar.
A service to celebrate her life will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery West Shelter at 1:00 p.m. Mountain Time on Thursday, September 11, 2025. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that patrons honor Mary’s memory by continuing her passion to serve and cherish their families.
Mary’s legacy of love, resilience, and family devotion will live on through all who knew her.
A graveside service for Maria will be held Thursday, September 11, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906.
