Maria "Chata" Luisa Valles

Maria Luisa “Chata” Valles, 94, of El Paso, Texas passed away on May 7, 2021. She was a lifelong resident of El Paso and was married to Amado Valles Sr. Chata retired from Farah MFG CO where she worked for 33 years. She had a passion for cooking, dancing and gathering with friends and family. She was preceded in death by her Husband and sons Amado Jr. and Roberto Valles.

She is survived by her Son Ruben Valles (Patsy Villalobos) and her siblings Raul Ybarra, Manuel Ibarra (Mary) and Yolanda Bearden. Also left to cherish her memory are her grandchildren Rose Valles Ramirez, Ruben Valles Jr., Ruben Paul Valles, and Erika Rose Valles.

Visitation will be held on Friday May 14, 2021 from 8:00 am to 10:00 am with the Rosary to begin at 9:00 a.m. at Hillcrest Funeral Home West 5054 Doniphan Dr. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 a.m. at St Patrick Cathedral, 1118 N. Mesa with the Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery Alameda.
