Martha was born on February 1, 1951 in El Paso, Texas. She graduated from Ysleta High School in 1969 to later go on and earn her Bachelor’s Degree at the University of Texas El Paso. In 1979, she became a member of Abundant Living Faith Center and went on to be an active employee with the church for many years. It was there that she met her soon-to-husband and they were married on October 1, 1982.
Martha had an incredible passion for animals, especially dogs and loved music that made you move. She was known for her humor and boundless love for her family.
Martha is preceded in death by her husband of 28 years, John Buntyn Jr and her parents, Thomas and Rita Perez. She is survived by her daughter, Emily Buntyn, her two step-sons, as well as her brothers and sisters: Tommy Perez, Rita Lecy, Anthony Perez, Mary Esther Ezell, Lydia Perez, Margaret Heard, and Stella Lohmann.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 12 at 9:30 a.m. at Abundant Church in El Paso, Texas.
