Marvin Leroy Flosi, beloved father, grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, brother and friend passed away on October 31, 2022. “Chet”, as he was known to his friends, lived a very full and healthy life walking several miles daily, fishing and hunting, and flying all over the country in an airplane he and his youngest son built in his garage. He never received the memo that he got old.
Marvin was a graduate of Austin High School, Texas Western College (now UTEP), and The University of Texas Dental Branch. He spent over 35 years delivering delivering compassionate dental care to his patients in his hometown of El Paso. He served in the the US Navy and retired in the US Naval Reserves with the rank of Commander.
Chet’s greatest skill was converting a total stranger to a friend which he did on a daily basis. Those friends, and his family, will miss him dearly. We’ll miss his generosity, kindness, and especially his witty sense of humor, but we’ll delight in knowing he resides in the presence of the Lord. Rest In Peace our dear sweet Chet!
Committal will be at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery on December 5, 2022 at 11:00 am. The address is 5200 Fred Wilson Ave. El Paso, TX 79906
