Mary Sophia Feeney of El Paso, Texas passed away Saturday April 30 th 2022. She was born August 13,1942 in Big Spring, Texas to Aureliano and Erlinda (Castillo) Ceniceros. She was preceded in death by both Aureliano and Erlinda and her daughter Wendy Sue. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Alonzo and Joe A Ceniceros Jr. Mary was a lifelong hospitality professional. She worked in various roles, most notably at the former Holiday Inn Airport in El Paso. She worked her way up starting as a restaurant cashier, then as an attendant in housekeeping and ultimately became the Executive Housekeeper. She also functioned as General Manager at the Missile Inn in El Paso. Included in her career was the position of Executive Housekeeper at the multi-story Holiday Inn on the Riverwalk in San Antonio. Mary received several accolades in her career. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday October 29 th at the Martin Funeral Home East at 1460 George Dieter Dr. She is survived by her devoted husband of 24 years, Juventino Cardiel, and one daughter, Colleen Feeney of Oklahoma City. She is also survived by sister Gloria Flynn and husband Chris, brother Humberto and wife Mireya, stepson Joe Cardiel and wife Alicia. Mary is also survived by many family members and friends who cared for her dearly. Services are from 11:00 am to 2:00 PM.
