She was born September 22, 1932 to immigrant parents, David and Nacima Joseph.
Mary left behind a legacy of love to her family who miss her deeply. She was a matriarch, mentor, trusted advisor and hero to her family.
Mary is survived by her son Lonnie Sr. (Maggie), and her daughters Marcy (Anad) Salem and Dede Lawrence (Todd), grandchildren Joseph (Lacey) and Jacob Pendley and Lonnie Jr (Meghan) and Leanne Lawrence.
She is survived by 7 beautiful great-grandkids Madison, Lonnie III, Cassi, Kayla, Mason, Maverick, Jonathan whom she enjoyed and loved dearly.
She is also survived by her brother Harvey Joseph (Beverly), and sisters, Myrna (John) Falco and Lillian (Rollie) Fornelia and dear friends Rosie Lawrence and Don Pendley.
She was preceded in death by her son Kendall and the father of her children, CW Lawrence (Dub).
Mary was in the banking industry for over 60 years and retired as Vice President.
Even at age 82 she made her family proud by modeling for a major department store.
She loved people and people loved her. She was very generous in giving of her time for others. When her children were young she was involved in scouts and PTA's in schools. Later, for years she volunteered at local hospitals, helped her son with his art and framing gallery and helped her physician son-in-law with his office when she visited Illinois.
She was an avid bridge player who loved playing with all her dear friends.
The family is grateful for having caring neighbors, friends and compassionate nurses at Texas Oncology, whom Mary thought the world of.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to: St Jude Children's Research Hospital.
Memorial Service will be May 12, 2021 from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm followed by a Graveside at Restlawn Cemetery at 12:30 pm.
