Mia Angelica Molina, meaning My Angel Molina, was born in Dothan, Alabama on October 13th, 2003. Tragically, Mia passed away September 24th, 2025, finding enteral peace with her heavenly departed grandparents, William “Bill” Evje and Othoniel and Jennie Molina. She is survived by her loving parents, Esty and Macedonio “Macy” Molina, her older brother Macen, older sister Genieva, and younger sister Breanna Molina, as well as her grandmother Jerrine Evje and uncles William “Willy” Evje and Joshua Molina.
In just her 21 years of life, Mia achieved what many could not in a lifetime. She spent her early teenage and young adulthood runway and pageant modeling. Through her modeling and pageantry career, she earned numerous titles, among of which include Miss Sunrise and Miss Top Model USA. She also featured in a music video, as well as several fashion magazines and online platforms, earning her a far-reaching social media presence.
In addition to her interest in modeling, Mia loved sports cars and animals. She combined her interested and founded Cars&Canines, a nonprofit community event that worked to find forever homes for local shelter dogs, providing microchipping, vaccines, and adoption services while embracing widespread interest in cars.
With a bright young mind, Mia graduated Alta Vista Early College with Honors and earned an Associates Degree of Arts, and then a Bachelor’s Degree in Strategic Marketing with a Minor in Advertising from New Mexico State University.
Mia knew to shoot for the Moon, because if she missed, she’d reach the stars—and now, she shines brightly among them. Though her feet no longer walk beside us, her soul moves forward, answering higher calls and embracing greater missions in places our eyes cannot see. We trust that the same fierce love, light, and purpose she brought to this life now radiates even farther, and she trusts that we will carry on her legacy. Her story continues—written in constellations, carried in the wind, and held permanently in our hearts. Forever, our Angel, Mia Molina.
A visitation for Mia will be held Friday, October 3, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. with a memorial service at 7:00 p.m. at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas 79904.
