OCTOBER 14, 1938 – JULY 29, 2025
Mother Teresa once said, “Death is nothing else but going home to God, the bond of love will be unbroken for all eternity.” On July 29, 2025, Oscar began his journey home to God where he will join his parents, Ignacia and Donato Rojas and his brothers Donato, Roberto, Ramiro, Jaime and Jorge.
The unbroken bond of love will be cherished by his wife Gloria and his children Oscar Rojas/Gloria Sanchez; Rogelio Rojas/Tina Rojas; Patsy Gutierrez/Victor Gutierrez.
Also carrying the bond of love for “GrandPa” are his eight grandchildren and nineteen great- grandchildren. His nieces and nephews and their families also honor the bond of love for “Tio Oscar”.
The large extended family and friends feel the bond of love Oscar shared with everyone he welcomed into the family.
Oscar enjoyed supporting and encouraging his grandkids at their baseball, football and basketball games and even dance recitals. He was an ever-loyal friend and confidante to many and was always ready with his quick wit or much-needed sage advice.
Always an avid reader, he enjoyed reading his Times, Newsweek, USA Today, and El Paso Times page by page, cutting out a cartoon here and there to share with family. His sense of humor and wittiness brought laughter to many.
Yes, the bond of love from Oscar – and for Oscar, will be unbroken for all eternity.
