April 20, 1953 - January 3, 2019
Oscar (Speedy) passed away on January 3, 2019 with his loving wife at his side. He joins his father, Adalberto Tellez, and sister, Rosella Madrid, in heaven.
As the jokester of the family, Oscar made everyone laugh by always being honest and saying it like it was. He enjoyed going to the casinos as often as he was able, and voiced his excitement to play at the “casino in the sky.” We have no doubt he is winning lots of jackpots now!
Left to honor Oscar, and remember his love are his wife of 39 years: Emily Tellez; his mother: Josefina Tellez; his brothers: Albert Jr. and Joe Tellez; his daughters: Yvonne, Christy, and Denise (Jon); his grandchildren: Tommy, Johnny, Olivia, Chloe, Jaden and Joclyn, and extended Madrid and Tellez families.
A rosary/viewing will be held on January 8, 2019 from 5-9 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home - 1060 Carolina. The mass will be on January 9, 2019 at 9:30am at St. Raphael’s Parish – 2301 Zanzibar Rd. with burial to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
