November 11, 1953 – July 11, 2025
Patricia Arellano, lovingly known as Patsy, passed away surrounded by her family and friends, leaving behind a legacy of fierce love, honesty, and unforgettable humor. Born on November 11, 1953, and raised in the El Paso/Canutillo area, Patsy was the heart of her family for generations.
Patsy is proceeded in death by her parents Rosendo and Julia Hernandez. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Mago, with whom she built a life full of strength, laughter, and deep-rooted love. Together they raised two daughters, Lizzy (Mario) and Sandy (Daniel), and were blessed with grandchildren Morcito (Cat), Michael, and Krysti (Jonathan). Her legacy lives on through her great-grandchildren Daniel, JJ, and Jade.
Patsy was known for her blunt honesty, sharp wit, and a sternness that only masked the deep care she carried for everyone around her. If she gave you a hard time, you knew you were loved. She had a way of keeping everyone in line—whether you wanted it or not—and her words often lingered long after, wrapped in truth and affection.
She was a force to be reckoned with, a matriarch who kept her family strong, grounded, and always laughing. Her presence will be missed beyond words, but the memories she created and the strength she instilled will remain with all who knew her.
Our most sincere thanks to the Hospice of El Paso-West. Their compassion and patience helped keep our mom comfortable and the family at ease.
