Patricia E. Carrasco, 62, born on October 11, 1953. She was preceded in death by husband Alvaro Carrasco. Survived by daughter Denise Zavala Carrasco (son-in-law Adolf Zavala), son Alvaro Alexandro Carrasco, grandson Malachi I. Zavala. Also survived by sister Ema G. Calvillo and brother Carlos Garibaldi.
As a child, Patricia was reflective and quiet yet adventurous. She often climbed the mountains and hills of Mexico that few would tackle. Her love of the outdoors, innocence and sincerity remained with her throughout her life. Patricia lived a satisfying life, working for 40 years as a registered nurse in a career filled with dedication and service. Her laughter was as contagious as her unwavering faith, so raw and sincere. It was this faith and her character that eventually won her son and daughter to know God. Things that cannot be accomplished by mere effort, she accomplished with the power of love and prayer.
So to our mother, our friend and our angel, we thank God for every laugh and every single moment that we witnessed your passionate light in our lives. And thanks to the faith you imparted, we know we will see you soon.
“For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”- Romans 10:9
Visitation: Thursday, November 5, 2015 from 5:00 to 9:00pm. Prayer service: 7:00pm at Crestview Funeral Home.
