Your families faith, strength and service to others is something I remember you as a teenager, always very upbeat, energetic. Your mom, brothers and family always doing good for people.  May the Lord grant your family mercy,  peace, comfort and strength to get through this difficult time. So sad to see something like this happen to you in EP. The Lord bless your family.

I went to school with Paul . He always had a smile and it was rare to see him unhappy. I lost touch with Paul through the years but every picture I’ saw of him on Facebook, he always had a smile. Paul, I know you are with the Lord rejoicing and smiling . Rest in peace. My condolences to the family and my prayers are with you.

I remember Paul coming over sometimes to cut my hair when I was a kid. He was always nice to me whenever I saw him. He always seemed ecstatic to see me even though I didn't know him too well he treated me like a little brother. And you could tell his exuberance was genuine. The furthest thing from a fake as you can get. Despite his troubles he was a positive and jovial force whenever he was around me, and the memories I have of him are warm. I hope he rests well and I am sorry for his family.

Woody,Paul and Michael grew up with my first kids. As is normal people grow up and go their different  ways and we lost track. Years later l find out Paul is working in a restaurant in California. We go there and really happy to see my nephew again. Seems very friendly, cheerful  and almost bubbly. The kind of waiter l think people will go just to be around him. Back in ElPaso my wife lily and l start a small restaurant, Casa Itzel and are pretty successful putting in 16 hour days. A cousin,Danny was owner of a large restaurant and bar called Sugerdaddies. Sadly Danny died young and the opportunity arose to expand our venture. Alex , Paul’s dad had come back to El Paso after retiring from California. and him and l took over after Danny. My first thought was bringing in Paul who did in fact come work with us. It was a joy to be around him. So he was more then a nephew and l will miss him much after his tragic passing.

I love you my big brother! You deserved sooo much more!

I will miss you Paul.  Paul was and is my brother.  He is now with the Lord.  I will see him in the New Jerusalem to come.
