I have so many fond memories of you growing up and also of us working (volunteer) along side each other at Hueco Tanks for many years, I learned so much, laughed so hard, my heart aches knowing you are gone. You touched so many hearts, young & old thru out your lifetime, not a dry eye, I'm sure. You are such a caring, giving, kick "a", one of a kind guys.  We will meet up again, until then, old friend. I will miss you brother ! The absence you left me no one can see.  I will cherish all the memories we shared growing up, but I am at peace knowing you left this world HAPPY,  doing what you want.   The greatest gift you left us is your wife and children and through them we will continue to see you as life goes on here for us.   I loved you but now I must set you free.  Rock in Paradise Pete and hope to see you when my time comes brother.   P.S. don't give St. Pedro a hard time, let go of the bike and receive your wings.

My most heartfelt condolences to the Snell family for the great loss of this wonderful person, father, husband, son and whom I consider a good friend. It seems just like yesterday when we were in High school and although we were in differebt paths in life, we somehow connected again though  my cousin Alfredo, your best friend.. My sister Sandra  and I like many, will miss having you around.. I truly enjoyed talking about nature and photography, as an amateour photographer myself,  I had the privilege to see some of your work.. Thank you for the fun memories and chit chats at the Hueco Tanks park.. Many hearts ache because of your unexpectef departure and I pray that God will help the Snell family heal and recover from  this loss..  Amen..

To the Snell family,

I am a climber and live out here near the park. Pete the "knife ranger" was such a wonderful human and I am so grateful to have met him. He brought amazing energy to the park and we will forever miss him. Also his instagram account was quite popular among the climbers, we loved his sense of humor! I'm sending everyone of you a big hug. Please know your husband and father will be missed by people who live all the world.  <3

My deepest condolences to the Snell family! I met Pete while working at “Quickie” back in  early ‘93/94! I can hear Pete hearing his Rock music one hour till clock out time! Poor Old ladies that worked there would go crazy because they didn’t understand the music!! But it was fun working with him!! Him yelling “Yeaaaahhhh”  Then we got back together when we worked at YISD. I can say that he was a true lifelong friend that will be GREATLY MISSED! We always kept in touch. We’d send each other texts. Always knowing he was there. May He Ride Free up in heaven! Love You Carnal!
