Raquel Luevanos Pinon

Raquel Piñón, 64, born in El Paso, Texas, passed away, surrounded by her loving family on November 27, 2025, at 2:45 PM, in El Paso, Texas. Raquel dedicated her life to being a homemaker, where her greatest joy was found in caring for her family and creating a warm, welcoming home. Her passions were deeply rooted in family, home, and God, to which values she carried with grace and devotion throughout her life.

Raquel’s personality was generous, just, and selfless. She gave freely of herself, always extending compassion, fairness, and care to those around her. Her presence brought comfort, her laughter brought joy, and her wisdom guided many.

She was a faithful servant and leader in her church community, where she guided youth, young couples, and women with strength and tenderness. Her faith was the cornerstone of her life, and she lived it with humility and love.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Cristobal Piñón, whom she lovingly encouraged to continue a path of devotion to God; her siblings Blanca “Gollis” Payan (Amador), Leonor Luevanos, and Jorge Luevanos (Kristen); her children Cris Piñón (Kimario), Alexandra Piñón (Robert), and Daniel Piñón (Natalie); and her beloved grandchildren Daniela Piñón, Nathaniel Piñón, Noel Piñón, Noah Piñón, Lucas LonVelin, and Zackariah LonVelin.

She was preceded in death by her parents Roque Luevanos (2025) and Martha Luevanos (2017), and her sister Dora Luevanos (2024).

Raquel’s legacy is one of fairness, tenacity, and devotion. She will be remembered not only for her steadfast faith and selfless love, but also for the radiant smile that lit up every room she entered. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her spirit will continue to live on in the lives of those she touched.

Raquel dedicó su vida a ser ama de casa, donde encontró su mayor alegría en cuidar de su familia y crear un hogar cálido y acogedor. Sus pasiones estaban profundamente arraigadas en la familia, el hogar y Dios, cuyo valores que llevó con gracia y devoción a lo largo de su vida.

La personalidad de Raquel fue generosa, justa y alturista. Se entregaba sin reservas, siempre extendiendo compasión, justicia y cuidado a quienes la rodeaban. Su presencia brindaba consuelo, su risa traía alegría y su sabiduría guiaba a muchos.

Fue una fiel servidora y líder en su comunidad de iglesia, donde guió a jóvenes, parejas y mujeres con fortaleza y ternura. Su fe en Cristo Jesus fue la piedra angular de su vida, y la vivió con humildad y amor.

Le sobreviven su devoto esposo, Cristóbal Piñón, a quien amorosamente animó a continuar un camino de devoción a Dios; sus hermanos Blanca “Gollis” Payan (Amador), Leonor Luevanos y Jorge Luevanos (Kristen); sus hijos Cris Piñón (Kimario), Alexandra Piñón (Robert) y Daniel Piñón (Natalie); y sus queridos nietos Daniella Piñón, Nathaniel Piñón, Noel Piñón, Noah Piñón, Lucas LonVelin y Zackariah LonVelin.

Fue precedida en muerte por sus padres Roque Luevanos (2025) y Martha Luevanos (2017), y por su hermana Dora Luevanos (2024).
