That fear driven tactic to get me to swing by and say hi to you every time I would come over to the house. It’s funny now as an adult but as a nine year old little girl, it was scary. Did it work? No, I was such a little punk and would avoid you every chance I could  get. But as much as the little turd I was, you were always so patient with me. When hearing the news, my heart was saddened. Not only mine, but the others that were in your life too. You will be missed.  Thank you for all the fun memories. Love you Tio.

I was introduced into your life only a year ago, I feel like i didn’t get enough time to get to know you . Though I wish I could’ve a little more.. yet i knew you long enough to understand that you were a great person with a big heart.. I thank you for being an awesome Grandpa for Evan ( Pollo). Despite being so young I’m sure he got to enjoy you. I know you left without meeting Luca but we’ll all make sure he understands the impact you made in our lives. I also feel the need to thank you for raising the great man I have by my side because he is who he is because of you. I am grateful to be able to have you in our lives, the time we spent is something I’ll never forget because you made us feel apart of your family the moment we came to it
