Raymond was born in El Paso, TX to Ramon and Lillian Chavez on January 16, 1959. He married Gloria on January 20, 1979 in La Mesa, NM.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria; his children, Daniel (Catherine), Christopher (Meredith) and his brothers Fred and Joe Albert; his grandchildren Nicholas Nathaniel, Avery Marie, and Maxwell Cameron.
Raymond loved working on his farm, enjoying sports with his kids, and spending time with his family and friends. And his deepest devotion was his grandkids.
Visitation is scheduled for February 17, 2018 from 2:00 – 3:00 pm with a rosary and Funeral Service to follow from 3:00 – 4:00 pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home West, 5054 Doniphan Drive, El Paso, TX 79932.
