Reynaldo Navarro

Reynaldo is survived by the love of his life Estela with whom he shared 63 years of marriage. He was extremely devoted to Estela and his son Gabe, his two daughters Thelma (Diane) and Debra Lopez (Manny). His devotion extended to his grandchildren Lisa (Roland) Gonzales, Nicole (Dimitri) Velesiotis, Angel Lopez, Alex (Edna) Navarro, Iliana Lopez (Erik, El Oso) and Erika Ruby Navarro. His family includes 6 great-grandsons (Adan, Sammy, Brandon, Costa, Andreas, Jesus) and one great-granddaughter (Zoe). Reynaldo is also survived by his sisters Maria Rodriguez and Irene Melendez (Fullerton, California).

He was a self-made man who owned his own roofing business for 35 years. He was a proud serviceman in the United States Marine Corps (1954-1956). Many things brought him lots of joy: cooking, working on a roof, golfing, gardening, watching military and wildlife shows and the Dallas Cowboys.

We will receive friends and family on Monday, April 17, 2017, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr. from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm followed by a Vigil Service at 7pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017, at Our Lady of the Light Church, 4700 Delta Dr. at 8:45 am. Interment will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery.
