Robert Joseph Kaminski III, beloved son, husband and father, passed away on May 27, 2018. Robert was born to Robert J. Kaminski Jr. and Edith Esther Camacho on December 1, 1980 in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Irvin High School where he was Captain of the soccer team. In 2003, Robert joined the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office and rose to the rank of Sergeant. Robert received numerous awards and accolades with the Sheriff’s Office. He earned the respect of his colleagues and was honored in 2015, with the Sgt. Palladino Award for his Unwavering Devotion and Commitment to his Officers. Robert’s proudest accomplishment was being a father to his three beautiful daughters. Robert will be remembered for his fun loving nature and willingness to help others. Robert III is survived by his wife, Yvonne Fernandez, Jayla, Aubree, and Riley, his daughters; Robert Jr. and Gloria Kaminski, his father and step-mother; Esther Camacho his mother; Michael, Andrew, Stefanie, Jessica, Tamara, and Kristen, his brothers and sisters; and Robert Sr. and Jeannette Kaminski, his grandparents. Visitation for Robert III will be at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 N. Carolina; on Thursday May 31st from 5pm thru 9pm with the Rosary beginning at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be at Our Lady of the Valley Church, 8600 Winchester, on Friday June 1st at 9:30am. Burial will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd.
