Our Father, Grand father, Great grandfather and so much more lived a complete and honest life out of El Paso Texas. In his youth he went to Jefferson High School where he played baseball with the Silver Foxes. From here he went onto play semi professional baseball with the Rebels, which would cement his love for sports. His ethics of hardwork in the field transferred to his service to the Army where he functioned as a Sharpshooter and a Heavy Artillery Crewmember working in tanks. After he served this country he went on to drive buses for 38 years with Sun Metro. At any place in town that he went, inevitably someone would shout “Guero” and strike up a conversation about his humor and hidden good deeds. As for religion he practiced taking camping trips to go fish, eating good food with friends, having a strong sense of justice with enough compassion to give way for people to all feel respected and loved. During one significant fishing trip he managed to catch a 35 pound catfish, which he promptly delivered to his loving wifes kitchen where everyone was able to have their fill. This tradition of a full house continues even to this day as he is survived by his wife Carolina Carbajal, his sister Soledad Saldaña his 3 children Patricia Sanchez, Irene Pineda, Rodolfo Carbajal III, his 8 grandchildren Jose Sanchez III, Samuel Sanchez, Thomas Sanchez, Rodolfo Carbajal IV, Isaac Carbajal, Angelina Pineda, Aliana Pineda, Isabella Carbajal, 3 great grandchildren Noah Sanchez, Ella Sanchez, Samuel Sanchez and many more to come, as well as far too many family members and friends to mention here, but never too many to welcome at the table.
