Rosa B. Cruz

Rosa B. Cruz, loving mother of four, passed away on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at the age of 94. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Rosa married the love of her life Felipe G. Cruz in 1941, until his death in 2009. She is survived by her daughters Carol Cruz Arzola (Nestor Arzola), Merry Cruz-Damman (Herman Damman) and sons Bobby F. Cruz and Johnny B. Cruz; 14 grandchildren, numerous great and great great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held from 12pm to 2pm with a prayer service at 1pm on Monday, March 7, 2016, at Hillcrest Funeral Home-East. Interment will follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery at 2:30pm, where she will be laid to rest with her husband. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the entire staff, residents and resident’s family members at Ambrosio Guillen State Veteran’s Home; especially Nurse Maria G., Chaplian Mike and the staff at Hospice of El Paso for their dedication, love and support.
