Rubie Angelica Duran, a vibrant and loving soul, passed away on March 15, 2025, leaving behind a life full of promise. Born on December 18, 2000, in El Paso, Texas, Rubie was a 24-year-old talented and driven woman.
Rubie Duran, a devoted daughter, cherished sister, and true friend, is survived by her mother, Vivian Duran; her father, Raymond Montoya; her grandparents, Rebecca Duran, Jesus Rodriguez and Mary Montoya; and her siblings, Angel Milam, Jesus Duran, Brandie Duran, and Alecks Montoya. She leaves behind a niece, nephew; and numerous cousins, and friends.
A 2020 graduate of College Career and Technology Academy, Rubie’s life was cut short before she could fully fulfill her potential. She was incredibly honest, genuinely authentic, and extremely loyal. Rubie cherished simple pleasures, such as drawing, painting, reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
A talented artist, Rubie loved tattooing, making music, rapping, and playing the guitar. She had a big heart and a passionate love for animals, especially her dogs, Rylow and Marley.
