A life so beautifully lived, deserves to be beautifully remembered. Please join us as we celebrate the wonderful life and soul of our cherished Mrs. Sara Sue Crawford, who has been welcomed into Heaven on January 16, 2023. Born September 19, 1939, she was a Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, and great friend to all who have been blessed by her presence and the center to our wonderful family. She is survived by her true soulmate and Husband Mr. James R. Crawford, her sisters, Mary Anne and Nancy Evelyn, her sons James, Robert, and David, her Grandchildren Blanca, Sabrina (Bean), James, Amanda, Paige, Steven, Candice, and Bobby, her Great Grandkids Leo, Angelo, and Aleyna. The creation of this family started back when "Sue and Jim" began their love affair while roller skating, to driving on a dirt road only stopping to polka music on the radio while dancing in the dust cloud. Their love merely kept alive and strong by a laugh each and everyday. "Susie Q" loved to joke and her passion was taxes. She's been a tax preparer for more than 30 years and made so many friends who loved to visit with her as they received advice as well as companionship. Sara always made sure all were welcome and treated all like family. Known by many as "Grandma" she is forever in all our hearts, so please attend with your wonderful thoughts, prayers, and fondest memories of this extraordinary woman as we honor a life well lived and truly loved by many. Services are to commence on Sunday, January 22, 2023, at Hillcrest Funeral Home, from 11:30am to 12pm for immediate Family, and 12pm to 4pm for all are welcome, at 1060 N. Carolina Dr. El Paso, Tx 79915.
-To Those Whom I Love, And Those Who Love Me When I am gone, release me, let me go.
I have so many things to see and do,
You mustn't tie yourself to me with too many tears, But be thankful we had so many good years.
1 gave you my love, and you can only guess How much you've given me in happiness.
I thank you for the love that you have shown,
But now it is time I traveled on alone.
So grieve for me a while, if grieve you must, Then let your grief be comforted by trust.
It is only for a while that we must part, So treasure the memories within your heart.
I won't be far away for life goes on.
And if you need me, call and I will come.
Though you can't see or touch me, I will be near.
And if you listen with your heart, you'll hear, Oh my love around you soft and clear.
And then, when you come this way alone,
I'll greet you with a smile and a
'Welcome Home'
