Our most sincere condolences from the Mena family. We met Victor in May, as his tenants, He would tell us stories about his life since we live in his old house. We always loved to have him over and invited him in for lunch and have a talk. We only knew him a short time but seems like we had a good connection, we going miss him dearly, as we consider him part of our family.  In Matthew 5:4, Jesus says, “Blessed are those who mourn for they shall be comforted.” I plea the blood of Jesus over the family of Victor Vera, may God have him in his glory. May God give y'all comfort and revelation. I pray for comfort for all friends and family. My deepest condolences to his family. In Jesus name, Amen.

My sincere condolences to the Vera Family.
Victor was a very special man and he was loved by the Chaparral Community. I knew Victor for 11 years.  My husband Scott and I moved to Chaparral and Victor made us feel welcomed.  Victor was very special to me because he was there for me when my husband and brother passed away.  He knew what to say but best part were his warm hugs he gave me. 
Victor and I went on adventures to Alamogordo with our burritos and sodas ready for court.  We had talks on the drive and I learned a lot about his own adventures when he was young.  We also enjoyed going to his favorite place Los Gallegos to have breakfast and just relax and talk.  I loved when he came to my house and I always had cold water or hot coffee with something sweet waiting for him.  
He loved coming over just to talk or have me look over some papers.  He loved my dogs and they loved him.  However his dog Paloma was his great companion.  Boy did she protect Victor.  When I would go over to Victors house Paloma always made her presense known.  One of my favorite memories at Victor's house was when I made him some pancakes and coffee.  The smile on his face always made my day.  Victor became like a Dad to me with the great advice he gave me and how much he cared about me.  His Hugs were the best! 
I will miss my sweet Victor immensely but I know he is no longer in pain and he is with the love of his life Magdalena.  I love and miss you Victor...you are Forever in my Heart! ❤
