Virginia “Ginger” Brown went home to be with her Lord on April 12th 2015. She was born to Otto Bartholomae and Felicie Boudreaux Bartholomae on October 9, 1931 in El Paso . She attended St. Joseph ’s Catholic School and was a graduate of Austin High School . She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Ginger was a “Pillar of Faith” and attended St. Raphael Parish since it’s opening in 1967. She was an avid bowler and loved to horseback ride in Ruidoso, and loved to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son Paul Brown and her sister Lucille Liggett. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Riley Brown, sons: Noel Brown of Haslet, TX, Mike Brown of Green River WY, and Greg Brown of La Quinta, CA, siblings: Dorothy Smith of El Paso, Billy Bartholomae of Odessa, TX, Edward Bartholomae of Mountain Home, AR , and Joyce Collier of Missouri City, TX, 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
