Wayne Tillman, 60, died March 15, 2012 at Del Sol Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at Martin Funeral Home East on Thursday March 29, 2012 at 11:00AM with visitation starting at 10:00AM. He was born on October 19, 1951 to Willie and Frances Tillman in Brooklyn, NY, however was raised in Danville, VA. He was a great basketball coach and mentor for adolescents as well as adults.
Mr. Tillman is preceded in death by his mother, Francis Tillman.
Mr. Tillman is survived by his father, Willie Tillman; brother, Larry Tillman; sister, Sharon Wilson and spouse Frank Wilson; daughter, Chantal Tillman; son, Jonathan Tillman; and survived by a host of relatives and friends.
