

Pat Easley was born on May 11, 1938, to H.E. ‘Escho’ Easley and Olga Adella Laza Easley. He passed away on March 23, 2026. Pat grew up in Temple, graduating from Temple High School in 1956. He was a football player, track team member, and golden gloves boxer. After high school, he rode Enduro Moto-Cross for a few years. Pat loved hunting, fishing, and all things outdoors. He went on many fishing trips to the Brazos River and deer and elk hunting trips to Colorado, Montana, and all over with friends and family. In 2023, at the age of 85+, he competed in the Senior Games across the US, shooting archery and winning most of the time!
Pat married Mary Frances Durden, and they had two daughters, Tammie Sue and Paula Marie. Pat worked as a commercial painter in Alaska for many years. He shared his love of the outdoors with his great grandchildren, Jonathan and Brianna Vasquez, whom he adored.
Pat was preceded in death by his parents, wife Mary Frances, and daughter Paula Marie. He is survived by his daughter, Tammie Sue Bridges, and husband Donnie, as well as several nieces and nephews. His great grandchildren, Jonathan and Brianna Vasquez, of Cedar Creek, Texas, also remember him fondly.
Graveside services are pending at Hillcrest Cemetery, Temple, Texas.
