Thomas Leo Swint

Thomas “Leo” Swint, 59, of Liberty Hill, Texas, passed away on May 22, 2026. Leo was born in Alamogordo, New Mexico, but he spent the majority of his life living in different areas of Texas. He was known for his great sense of humor, and his kind and generous nature. Leo built many lifelong friends who will all miss him dearly.

Born on February 2, 1967, Leo was the son of Gay and Gloria Swint. Before his passing, he was a software developer for Knight Transportation. He attended Permian High School in Odessa, Texas, where he was on the varsity swim team. Leo met the love of his life, Meredith Alinda Williams, at a prior place of employment. They married on November 1, 2003, in Austin, Texas.

Leo had many hobbies. He loved woodworking, hunting, creating things with his 3-D printer, and watching movies in his home theater. Leo loved animals and especially his dogs. He spent just shy of his 40-year career in the Information Technology field. He enjoyed mentoring and sharing his knowledge and experience with those that were less experienced.

Leo is survived by the love of his life, Meredith Alinda Swint and his dog Gunner. He was preceded in death by his mother, Gloria Marie Swint, and his father Jared LaGay Swint.

A Celebration of his life will be held in the near future.
