Audrey was born and raised in Hardin Co. where she also raised her family. She loved her family and for as long as she was able she enjoyed cooking, having large meals, and having the family all together especially on holidays.
She loved going to church and attended First Christian Church for many years.
She is proceeded in passing by her husband, Joe; parents, George and Zannie Reed; two children, Rita and George Thomas.
She is survived by four sons Larry (Theresa), Ronnie (Shari), Ricky (Sherry) and Floyd (Carol) Thomas; one daughter, Sheila (Kim) Gibson; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way and 2 great great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be Wednesday, October 9, 2024 at Noon at Brown Funeral Home. Burial will immediately follow in St. James Cemetery.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 4 – 8 p.m. and resume Wednesday at 10 a.m. until time of service at Brown Funeral Home.
