He was born on September 25, 1948, to the late John and Dorothy Ferguson, in Louisville, Kentucky. He graduated from DuPont Manual High School. Upon graduation, he served in the United States Air Force in Vietnam during the Vietnam War and later became a HVAC technician.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and one brother, John Ferguson.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Randy Ferguson; brother and sister-in-law, George and Gail Marlatt; and cousin, Susan Newton.
Visitation will be on Thursday, April 24, 2025, from 11 am – 1 pm at Brown Funeral Home. The funeral will be at 1 pm with Brother Kenny Rager officiating. Burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park, 4400 Bardstown Rd., Louisville, KY 40218.
