Carolyn Neva McCann

She was a native of Detroit, Michigan. She will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Daniel McCann, Sr.; and her father, Eugene Gates.

She is survived by her son, Michael R. Doran, Jr. (Bobbie) of Jackson, Tennessee; daughter, Kristen McCann Greenwell (Ryan) of Bardstown; step son, Steven McCann (Mary) of Elizabethtown; step daughter, Holly Jo McCann of Rineyville; mother, Neva Markell Gates of Michigan; six brothers, Dennis Gates (Phyllis) of Florida, Robert Gates (Kathy), Edgar Gates (Pam), Joseph Gates, John Gates, and Darrell Gates (Cora) all of Michigan; two sisters, Ruth Howe (Larry) of Tennessee and Gladys Gates of Michigan; six grandchildren, Candis, Alex, Carson, Rusty, Parker, and Addilyn; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral is Sunday at 2 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home with Brother Carl Lusk officiating. Burial will follow in Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.

Visitation is from 5-8 p.m. Saturday and continues after 12 noon on Sunday at the funeral home.
