Catherine Langford Yarbrough

Catherine was a loving wife and mother. She was a stay-at-home mother and fostered children for over 40 years.

She was a member of St. James Catholic Church and Our Lady of Mercy in Hodgenville.

Catherine loved singing and was a member of several groups, including St. James Catholic Church Choir and their Eucharistic ministries, Elizabethtown Choral Society, and the ECTC Choir.

She enjoyed rescuing animals, especially horses and dogs. Catherine helped feed the hungry for many years.

Catherine was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Fanelli and Patty Langford and one daughter, Kimberly Bargeron.

Survivors include her husband of 56 years, Michael Yarbrough; two sons, Eric Yarbrough and Charles Yarbrough; three daughters, Traci Ann Bargeron, Cathy (Will) Brower, and Gianna (Adriaan) Van Den Berg; and many brothers and sisters, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family, and friends.

The funeral mass is at 11 AM on Monday, September 29, 2025 at St. James Catholic Church.

Burial follows in Resthaven Memorial Park in Louisville.

Visitation will begin on Monday at 9 AM and continue until the time of service at the church.
