He was a self-employed painter for over 50 years.
Charles is survived by his wife of 54 Years, Barbara Guest Edlin; daughter, Melissa Jones; son, Charles "Marty" Edlin; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a brother, Charles McClendon.
He was preceded in passing by his parents, Van and Ruby Edlin, and his step-mother, Jeanette Edlin.
Visitation will be held at Brown Funeral Home, located at 306 College St., Elizabethtown, Kentucky, on January 11, 2026, from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm. The funeral service will follow at the same location, beginning at 12:00 pm.
Charles will be laid to rest at Elizabethtown Memorial Gardens.
