Charles "Allen" Hutcherson

A formal and respectful remembrance of Allen reflects a steady, devoted life marked by hard work and quiet strength. He spent many years as a truck driver, a role that spoke to his reliability and perseverance.

Charles shared his life with his long-term girlfriend, Debbie Straight. He is survived by three daughters, Natasha Hansford (Chris), Mariah Hutcherson, and Vanessa Pence (Dustin); two bonus foster sons; a brother, Kenny Hutcherson; and sisters, Lois Burba and Sue Vincent. He is also survived by grandchildren Drama Pence, Kaity Harris, Emma Hickson, Sadie Pence, Isabella Pence, Reagan Pence, and Brooklyn Hansford, as well as three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Hutcherson and Fay Thompson.

Allen found joy in the things that brought him outside and close to the people and pastimes he loved—motorcycles, University of Louisville basketball, camping, and boating. Above all, he loved being outdoors, and that love will remain a lasting part of how he is remembered.
