Clifford "Clip" Leon Bailey

Clip was a special and beloved brother and uncle who loved children, to watch for the school bus, to whittle and to eat ice cream. But most of all, he loved to go to church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Lovey Dye Bailey; two brothers, G. Laverne "G.L." Bailey and Herman Bailey and one sister, Lillian Bailey Murray.

He is survived by one brother, Preston (Jo) Bailey of Elizabethtown; two sisters, Gladys (Larry) Puckett of Elizabethtown and Lucille Skaggs of Upton; and his nieces and nephew, Gary Bailey, Vivian Soeder, Marilyn McMillen, Allen Bailey, Regina Mills, June Vaughn, Kenny Bailey, Keith Bailey, Imogene Warren, Gerald Skaggs, Eloise Bowman, Mellony Skaggs, Randy Murray, Danny Murray, Agnes Jewell, Paul Murray, Cindy Jordan, Darlene Hodge, Tammy Neal, Chad Bailey and Jenny Oldham.

The funeral is 2 p.m. Friday at Elizabethtown Baptist Church with Rev. Danny Haynes officiating. Burial will follow in Munfordville City Cemetery.

Visitation is Thursday from 4 to 8 p.m. at Brown Funeral Home in Elizabethtown and will continue after 12 p.m. Friday at Elizabethtown Baptist Church.
