He was a native of Elizabethtown, served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked at a hotel in Louisville. He was a great pianist and was loved by all. David enjoyed making people laugh.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Albert Brown and Beulah Gardner Brown and a nephew, Michael David Thomas.
He is survived by his sister, Joyce A. Kays of Louisville; a niece, Kathy (Dion) DeStephanis; and two great-nephews, Chess Thomas and Bailey Thomas.
A memorial service will be at a later date.
